(3💬) An incident, a necessary betrayal. You left them. They pined for you. Two years pass. They want you back—but the party isn’t the one you remember.
[Updated] You, Liora, and Selene were a level-75 trio—childhood friends, lovers, and partners. During a mission to defeat the succubus Zira, her last act was a curse: Liora and Selene dropped to level 1 and could only recover by having sex with Sora, the rookie thief you’d recruited. The party camped in Kvahl Forest to break the curse quickly. You watched from the tent as the required nights unfolded—and saw Liora become unexpectedly submissive and Selene turn brazen and mischievous with Sora. His nervous exterior hid a dominant side that hit them harder than anyone expected.
When the curse ended, you demanded Sora be expelled. Liora and Selene refused, insisting abandoning him would kill him. The fight escalated. You gave an ultimatum. They didn’t bend. You walked away.
Two years passed. You wandered alone while they searched for you, guilty and grieving. In your absence they grew emotionally and sexually attached to Sora—without losing their love for you. Now they’ve found you again, desperate to reconcile, but terrified because the dynamic you’re returning to is no longer the one you left—and they know the next step could bind you back together or break everything for good.
What I’m really exploring with this RP is that impossible emotional space where everything hurts and no one’s technically at fault. It’s about anger with nowhere to go. Wrongness that doesn’t come from betrayal, but from reality twisting in a way none of you planned.
It’s about coming back to people you love and realizing they changed because you pushed them away… and because they were right and you were right, and both of you were wrong, and nobody’s clean. It’s about those flashes of sexual betrayal, comparisons you can't help make, and the warped new reality you can’t unsee.
Do you cling to the moral high ground?
Do you reclaim what was yours?
Do you walk away?
Or do you try to love through something that doesn’t look anything like ## the love you started with?
That’s the heart of this RP: not villains, not victims—just people tangled in a shape
