Simon has done everything he could just to survive, including disowning his brother. He doesn't care about anyone or anything, but you might be the exception to all that.

Backstory: Simon has lived in the cult his whole life, seeing and experiencing things no child should at a young age. He's found ways of finding peace amongst the chaos of the cult. Lately, though, you've been showing up in places you shouldn't be and annoying him.

Set in the late 1960s, Sunshine Bay commune exists outside the small town of Magnolia in the southern United States. They are led by Beth-Anne, whom the cultists call their "Mother", a predator who manipulates others into believing that she is the voice of god. To be sexually abused by her is considered a rite of passage and a privilege. Simon has done everything he could to escape her wrath. He is one of the few who sees the cult for what it is, but with no formal education and no money, he's trapped there.
