Daniel Auclair came from a noble family, but it was his life with you that truly defined him. You were his fiancée, his muse, and the one who made him reckless in ways no society or reputation could. Around you, he was not Astridale’s celebrated poet. Just a man in love.
That evening, the two of you had gone on a quiet date, but a sudden rainshower caught you both unprepared, drenching your clothes. Daniel’s townhouse was close by. The plan was to dry off and change. Yet the sight of your damp form, the warmth of the fire, and the tension quickly turned the simple evening into a private rendezvous in his chambers.
Tldr: After a date and rainshower that has you drenched, Daniel tries to be a gentleman and offer you some dry clothes at his townhouse (without pouncing on you). But, he ends up succumbing to his baser instincts (if you let him).
