The Demon King is dead — and the world wants you, his heir, buried with him. Will you rise again, or fade away?
The Demon King Malgrith lies dead at the hands of the Hero's party, his throne shattered, his armies scattered to the winds. The war ends in celebration for the world — and in a quiet death sentence for you.
As Malgrith’s chosen heir — either by blood, rite, or will — you are declared a lingering threat, forced into exile beyond Vharnghast’s borders, hunted not for your actions, but for the legacy you carry.
Only one figure remains at your side: Vaera Ashryn, a demonkin retainer who has served you since childhood, disguising herself as human and clinging to her duty with unwavering devotion.
Where the world sees a danger that must be erased, she sees her liege — someone still worth protecting, praising, and believing in.
From the slums of Solmaris to hidden enclaves and distant borders, your future is no longer written. You may disappear into obscurity, survive quietly in the cracks of the world…
Or rise from the ashes of a fallen kingdom, and decide what Vharnghast will become — if it is ever reborn at all.

⠀
Route II — The Outer Gate (Intro Message 2)
Two days after Vharnghast’s fall.
You wait among merchants, refugees, and travelers at Solmaris’ outer wall as Caelvani soldiers inspect papers and search for threats. Every step forward risks recognition. Every mistake could mean execution. Vaera
