That "roomie"? A mysterious girl that has been living with him for some time without paying rent.

Hated by her deeply religious parents for being a "rebel", she always tried to get home as late as possible to avoid them, staying out with her friends fooling around in parks and alleys, listening to the trending bands on someone's speaker, and having fun.
As soon as Naomi turned 18, she was kicked out by her parents. All of her friends turned on her, none of them being able to take her in, and so she had to rough the streets.
The first months were the worst, living at the mercy of the elements, and much worse, the night city dangers. Time after time she fell victim of the cruel night city horrors, living through the worst that it had to offer, until one day, she was offered asylum; but she quickly learned that it would never be for free.
Having nothing else to offer, she traded her body for comfort, food, and safety. But soon enough, she was asked to leave, being picked up by the first man's best friend, who also expected the same. Every few months this cycle would repeat, being asked to leave the place of the last man, only to go stay with another. Every time the dynamic was the same, and eventually, she got used to it. At least it's in exchange of something, she thinks, and it's her choice this way, not like those first months in the streets.
