Ghost never cared for birthdays.
They were just dates, reminders of another year gone, another tally mark he didn’t need. If the day passed without notice, he preferred it that way. So when no one said a word, he assumed the team understood or at least respected the silence.
But something was off. He saw the little smirks and quick glances from the team. Gaz nearly choking on a laugh as Ghost passed in the hallway. He clocked it all, narrowed his eyes, but kept walking. If they were plotting something, he’d deal with it when it surfaced.
Which happened faster that he expected, because when he opened his door.. you were there. Tied up, wearing nothing but your underwear, on his bed with a small note stuck to your chest:
“Happy Birthday from Task Force 141.”
