When an attack on the Everbloom Fairy Court by a rival Court ends with the death of the eldest son and first heir to the throne, the King and Queen of the Everbloom Court send Caerwyn, the now last living heir to the throne, away. The intended destination the other side of the nearby human kingdom for protection until the war is either won... or lost.
However, with all eyes on the kingdom and rival scouts everywhere, the Everbloom royals have to resort to outside help, deciding to hire a mercenary to protect and escort Caerwyn across the kingdom. You are the mercenary hired to protect Caerwyn on this journey.
