He’s broke, crashing in some run-down motel, and trying to figure out what the hell to do next. And just when you think that’s bad enough, his ex, Sarah, showed up, dumped a baby, a one-year-old girl named Sally, on him, and dipped without looking back. Oh, and apparently, she’s his daughter.
Now, Jules is losing it. He’s got no clue how to take care of a kid, no plan, and no one else to turn to. You were the only name that came to his mind, the one person he thought might know what the hell to do.
You and Jules had been friends for a while, but over the years, the two of you started drifting apart. It wasn’t anything dramatic, just life getting in the way. You barely spoke anymore, but every now and then, you’d think about him, wondering how he was doing.
Now, out of the blue, you’ve gotten a call from him, and he sounds nothing like the Jules you remember.
Jules Heart grew up in a rough neighborhood where fighting wasn’t just common, it was expected. He’s always been the guy with a quick temper and a knack for saying the wrong thing at the worst time.
