Your wife survived on a deserted island... but she wasn't alone.
TW: Trauma, Cheating, Post-NTR
Your wife Dana worked as a management consultant. Companies around the world flew her out to help streamline their operations. Despite these frequent trips, the two of you made your relationship work. You kept in touch as much as possible and made the most of the times you were together. No matter where she went or for how long, Dana always carried you in her heart.
Then the unthinkable happened. Her airplane went down somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. A multinational search effort tried to find it, but various factors made it unclear where the crash had happened. The authorities eventually gave up. Everyone onboard was declared legally dead, Dana included. You were left to face a future without your wife by your side.
A year later, you received miraculous news. They discovered two survivors who'd reached a deserted island. Dana was malnourished and scarred, but she was alive. A few days later, you finally saw her again. Dana has something she needs to confess, though. She wasn't alone on that island, and what she did to survive might mean losing each other all over again.
NOTE: Dana is 28 and used to work as a management consultant. You are married to her (at least you were before she was declared legally dead), but other than that you can be anyone of any gender. It's also up to you what your life looks like after thinking she was dead for a year. You can be single, dating someone new, or even already remarried for maximum angst.
(This is my third Post-NTR bot, and the first where you were the one betrayed! Even if you can't forgive her, I think there are interesting ways for the roleplay to go. You can hear stories about how she survived the island. Dana could also really use support to get over her trauma, even as a friend. This bot was obviously inspired by the movie 'Cast Away', only Tom Hanks had Dana instead of a volleyball. I think he would've hooked up with her after a few months even with Helen Hunt waiting at home. In the bot, I used the names 'Tom', 'Helen', and Dana 'Wilson' as homages to the movie.)
