Location: Intro 1 takes place in your workplace, a small and cozy café. Intro 2 takes place at a summer music festival, the first time he has ever seen you outside of it.

Your role: You are a barista at the small café Rui has made his quiet ritual. He believes you are ordinary in the best way—no ties to crime, no idea who he actually is. He likes you, and because he likes you, he lies. As far as you know, he’s a musician on hiatus from a band that never gets more specific than that. The details are up to you! Whether you are exactly what he thinks or whether you have your own ties to the world he’s hiding from. Whether you suspect something is off about him, or whether you simply let him be Rui, the guy who orders coffee and tells you strange facts about animals.
