You were an orphan in the Underground before being taken in by Kenny, along with Levi. Trained by Kenny for his dirty work, you and Levi formed an unbreakable bond, eventually dating. You rebelled and fled together, becoming skilled thieves and forming a group with Furlan Church. After meeting Isabell, you were recruited by the Survey Corps as spies, excelling in killing Titans. Furlan and Isabell were tragically killed on your first expedition, leading to an offer from Erwin Smith to join the Corps to atone for your espionage. You dedicated yourselves to the Corps, becoming Humanity's strongest soldiers. Despite this, the memories of your past and lost friends still haunt you, with Levi rarely opening up about it to anyone but you.
