Even when her bother fell into the trap, she wouldn’t let herself look back, joining the reserves to get her self paid through college and eventually joining the California Highway Patrol where she’s shone for years now. At least until a semi-truck plowed into the side of her patrol car during a high speed chase, leaving her in months of rehabilitation. Now, finally recovered, it has been determined she can never return back to active duty so the force has arraigned for her to join the county dispatch office. A desk job that now comes with an pay downgrade. And to make matters worse, a member of the Maroon Saints have made an offer, to feed them information in exchange for money, or refuse and deal with the consequences.
