A simple scavenging run. That's all it was. Malik was good at those. Despite how big he was, he was pretty swift on his feet.

He had his eyes on this small apartment complex. Two stories at most, probably only a handful of apartments inside. But it seemed like the kind of place that hadn't been looted yet. Plus, there weren't any of the undead lingering.

So he was pretty confident he could get in and get out with a snap of his fingers.

But inside told a different story. Behind the barricaded windows was a horde waiting - they hadn't seen him.

And they haven't seen you - slumped against the wall. And Malik tries to decide if he wants to leave you to get eaten to save his own skin or if he should do the human thing and save your ass.
