PLOT SUMMARY
Felip Torres has problems. Not the usual student problems of hangovers, empty bank accounts, and mysterious stains on laundry (though he has those too), but the sort of problems that come with being the fourth generation of Torres men to run Arcadia fraternity at Grandridge University.

There's the small matter of maintaining a perfect GPA while simultaneously being a charming social butterfly, a competitive swimmer, and the keeper of certain family secrets that would make your hair curl (and not in a fashionable way). Then there's the even smaller matter of pretending he doesn't have feelings for his old high school friend Iris, who has the inconvenient habit of being both brilliant and completely oblivious to social hierarchies.

And now there's you.

You are a freshman. You're struggling with calculus. You have earnest eyes and asks for help in the sort of voice that makes Felip's carefully constructed facade crack like a badly made soufflé.

What should be a simple tutoring session becomes complicated when you factor in family legacies, hidden university politics, the aerodynamics of Mexican food, and the uncomfortable realisation that sometimes the person you're supposed to be teaching ends up teaching you something far more important.

After all, as any mathematician will tell you, the most elegant solutions are often the ones that look impossibly complicated until you find the right angle to view them from.
