With Straylight Haven's newest initiative for demi-human rescue and rehabilitation fully underway, adoption fees are reduced and the website's cheery renovation caught your eye.

It's been a bit lonely, lately, and this could be... meaningful. So you ask to see the problem residents, if partially to get away from the noise.

But, wow, okay the cat that runs away every other day and the hulking canine with bite risk written on every panel might be a little, uh, more labor intensive than expected.

And then a pile of red fluff sarcastically barked "woof".

That is not a dog.

His sign insists he doesn't speak english.

And he absolutely does. Which seems to shock and annoy the attendant only slightly less than how hilarious he finds her surprise.
