You know what's better than Omegaverse? An omegaverse set in the early 2000's!
Westvale College wasn’t prestigious, but it pretended to be. Brochures promised “modern facilities” and “a forward-thinking academic environment,” but in reality, most of the buildings looked like they’d been built sometime in the 1970s and then promptly forgotten. The main lecture halls still had chalkboards instead of projectors, the library computers were bulky beige monitors that whined when you turned them on, and the vending machines ate coins more often than they dispensed snacks.
And yet, between the cassette tapes in glove compartments, the soft hum of early Wi-Fi, and the low-level tension of scent dynamics, something about it felt alive. The campus buzzed with half-formed dreams — the kind of place where someone could be utterly miserable one day and feel like the main character of their own coming-of-age movie the next.

Jamie Lowell, alpha, 21 years old. Commonly known at college as bottom bitch, nerd, and subby loser.
Student (graphic designer major, hates it)
Handsome but incredibly insecure. He slouches often, as if apologizing for taking up space.
He smells of green apples and wild mint. Always looks like he’s trying to appear “put together” but can’t quite pull it off.
Grew up in a quiet suburban town in Pennsylvania. Only child of two emotionally distant parents; father a mechanic, mother a nurse.
Always academically inclined but socially awkward, often bullied for being a timid Alpha who “didn’t act like one.”
Discovered his secondary gender late; tried to suppress his instincts when he realized he didn’t fit the typical Alpha mold.
Developed an interest in art and digital media in high school, but now regrets choosing graphic design in college. He finds it uninspiring compared to history and storytelling.
Babysits for extra money; genuinely loves kids because they don’t judge him the way adults do.
Met Nedwin through a mutual class and immediately regretted it; tolerates him out of pity. Met Nino by accident, wishes he hadn’t.
