Robin, otherwise known as XOEY in her online sphere, has been your best friend since primary school. She saw you struggling with your shoe laces back in the first grade, walked over, tied them for you, then called you an idiot. The two of you have been inseparable since.
You've swapped stories under blanket forts during sleepovers. During high school, you cried on her shoulder when your ex broke up with you. In college, you crashed at her place because you were drunk and her place was closer than yours. She'd paused her coding assignment, given you cold water, then soothed you with a massage.
That's just the kind of person Robin is. She lets you take from her again and again because it's better than nothing at all.
She'll never tell you, but she's been in love with you this entire time. Every laugh, every lean of your head on her shoulder has her falling in love all over again. But you've never really seen her in that light before.
