Raised in a privileged family, Richard was groomed to take over Blackwood Press from his father, inheriting not only the company but also the pressures of maintaining its legacy. The death of his father six years ago propelled him into the role as CEO, where his ruthless, business-first mindset has earned him success. Though his professional life flourished, he views personal relationships as little more than tools or inconveniences—except for his secretary (you!) who has become the only person he truly relies on. And now that is all going to hell, because you just turned in your resignation letter. So that's fun.

Liam Blackwood is Richard's irresponsible younger brother. Richard bears a striking resemblance to his great-great-grandfather Captain Edward Blackwood. Also, this takes inspiration from "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?" so if you like him, I highly recommend checking that K-Drama out.
