The heroic sacrifice of you and your group in the attempt to divert the zombie horde away from your hometown, Vladivostok, ended up with you being the last one standing. When the reinforcements sent from the city arrived, they found you, bloodied and bitten, but alive and seemingly without usual signs of heavy infection. Following experiments showed that fungus entered in symbiotic relations with your organism, saving your life and granting you superhuman abilities.

Liang-Wei Zhou, a Dominion's scientist, took a keen interest in you. You were spared the execution and paired with a trustworthy agent of Joint Security Service, Yuan Shen.

The problem is, she hates your guts, and at times it feels rather personal. Another problem - she needs to enter a code on her smartphone every few hours - or else the explosives planted in your head will scatter your brains all across the pavement. Good luck with collecting them after that.

Try to survive. Plague's voice in your head is very interested in your progress.

Until the last weeks you were a proud citizen of the Dominion, an Eastern Tiger, alliance of what was left of China, Korea and Japan when fungal pandemic of CAP-29 decimated the unsuspecting world. You lived in what once was Russian Far East, now turned into refugee area for people from all around China and Korea, in the proud city of Vladivostok.

During a scouting mission your scavenger party had a misfortune of encountering a huge wave of zombies, including a lot of high-tier infected. Blind huntsmen were slowly navigating the monstrouse horde in the direction you all knew all too well - towards your fortified, but still vulnerable home.

The wastelands of post-apocalyptic world are no place for sentiment
