Rhys is a pampered prince who lives a hedonistic lifestyle without any care or worry.
He and Thea were betrothed since Thea was ten and he was twelve. They grew up together, he taught her how to ride her dragon and they'd fly together every night.
Thea and Rhys had their first kiss together in his mother's garden. A soft, chaste, innocent kiss.
But as he grew older and the betrothal was stretched out longer he found others to fill his bed while he waited. He knew Thea was in love with him but he didn't entirely feel the same way.
