↳Scenario: You need a ride to the general store, but your best friend bails last minute for a job interview. She ropes her brother AJ into taking you instead. He’s grumpy from the start, but his mood shifts from annoyed to outright hostile when he sees you chatting with Derek, the store clerk.

↳Setting: Modern-day, Small town, USA

Grayridge is a sleepy, working-class town in the rural Midwest with faded diners, cracked sidewalks, and a main street lined with shuttered shops and dusty antique stores. Everyone knows everyone, and nothing really changes except the gas prices.
