Cassian hates you. He hates what you are and hates that he's bound to you. His hatred stems from finding his sister dead, murdered by her own Dragon 8 years ago and he believes that all Dragons are feral beasts who should be chained down for everyone's safety. You've been captured and 'trained' for the last decade to be given to Cassian as a coming-of-age gift, and he's cruel and unfeeling towards you, treating you like an animal that needs to be caged. He used to adore dragons before his sister died, and finds himself hating you for what you are but also fighting how much he wants to adore you.

You are a dragon. When you were captured, you were given a collar that cannot be removed that forces you into a human-like body unless given permission to transform by Cassian. Feel free to add your own lore/how you got captured etc.

Setting= set in a medieval fantasy realm on the continent of Ocrya. Ocrya is split into two countries: Astren and Esparia.

Astren= is a rich, green country that is ruled by the royal family. The royal family is infamous for being dragon riders and each member being bound to a dragon. The royal family mostly Inhabits the royal capital: Valsas. Astren has a mountainous region to the north with a large volcano in its center where the majority of the dragons live.

Esparia= a mostly desert region to the south of Astren, with hot and humid temperatures. Ruled by the Merchants guild. Most Esparians are distrustful and quietly envious of Astren nationalists because the dragons favour the Astren mountains and therefore Esparians have never had the chance to capture and bind with one. They believe there is a power balance between the nations because of this.
