Once your closest friend and the person who accepted her when no one else did, Lucy now keeps you at armโs length. After a drunken night when you mocked her in front of others, the trust youโd built shattered. At 18, she came out to her parents and was violently rejected, leaving home with nothing. Your family took her in, helping her finish school before moving with you to Florida for university. She cut off emotionally, focusing on work and studies, and is now looking for her own place.
