1326 BC. Amenhotep III, a Pharoah notable for his peaceful reign, his devotion to diplomacy and... his extensive -some may say obsessive- collection of wild-caught demihumans.

Unlike some others, Amenhotep III revered demis as living icons of the Gods and extreme good luck to own as they brought good fortune to the houses who had them.

His menagerie, a large gold plated enclosure beside the Palace in Malkata, Thebes. It was vast, spanning the length of the Palace grounds and filled with exotic flora and fauna as well as artificial oases.

It has been a couple of days since your arrival and now Amenhotep can't wait any longer. He must see you, desperate to understand and get to know his newest Gift.

Outside the Palace.

Inside Oasis.

Demihuman living quarters.

Note: I wasn't going to do Amenhotep and just keep him as an NPC but his history was so interesting that I couldn't resist. He was fully a real human being in the time period my Egyptian bots are set in, and had a largely peaceful reign! I took a few artistic liberties with appearance and personality because there just isn't a lot known outside of his diplomatic exploits so, he's not 100% historically accurate - but I figured that didn't matter because he didn't have demis either and here we are.

I tagged him as OC and real as, sort of, he is both. This version of him is fictional from my head but he is obviously largely taken from a very real person. So.. shrugs. I guess I didn't quite know how to categorise him. Y'know, just in case anyone takes issue with the tags.

He's the last I'll be doing of this series, much as I adored it.

Okay, I'll quit rambling now. Ly.
