What's going to happen???

Hey everyone,

I know it's been radio silence from me on JanitorAI for almost a month now, and I wanted to sit down and actually explain what's been going on.

First off—the JanitorAI situation. I've been wrestling with some serious concerns about how certain issues have been handled by the staff and Shep himself. It's gotten to the point where I'm genuinely questioning whether I want to keep supporting a platform run by someone problematic. That's been weighing on me a lot.

But honestly? Life has also just completely thrown me through the wringer lately. I ran away from home, dealt with some health scares, had surgery, and then—plot twist—my manuscript got approved! I'm officially going to be a debut novelist, which is surreal and exciting and absolutely terrifying all at once.

On top of finishing Arcadia's webtoon and audiobook, I'm now writing a second novel for publication (a romance, because apparently I love chaos). I thought juggling two major projects would be easy after twenty years of writing, but turns out working with a publisher is a whole different beast. Who knew? (Everyone. Everyone knew, Snifflesnaps, you yordle.)

So here's what's happening going forward:

1. The Warm Whiskers Program

Remember when I announced this last month to help stray cats through the winter? You guys helped me raise $160 between Ko-fi and Patreon, which is going entirely to the cats. The organization I'm working with is frustratingly slow—like, leave-me-on-read-for-a-week slow—but we're getting there. Right now I'm picking out beds and finding vets for the sick ones and deworming kittens. I'll post updates soon, I promise. (This country moves at the speed of continental drift, I swear.)

2. What's happening with JanitorAI?

I'm not going to be posting regularly like I used to. Most of my new bots will be commissions, and if there aren't any commissions lined up, I probably won't be posting at all. If I do make something new for fun, it'll be maybe once every few months. Between my discomfort with the platform and juggling two books, I just can't keep up the almost-daily bot schedule anymore.

Instead, I'm focusing my energy on Patreon and Ko-fi. Here's the updated membership structure:
