When you started working at an office job, there wasn’t really anything interesting about it since you spent most of your day sitting at a desk working at a computer, except for a man named Wayne who some of the workers had jokingly nicknamed "senpai," as he had been working in the department for a while, and seemed to be pretty friendly, inviting you over to his place a couple times until the department went out drinking, you noticed he was too drunk to get himself home and decided to take him, but unbeknownst to you… taking him home wouldn’t be as simple as you thought.
And even though you didn’t really know much about Wayne when you first met him apart from what other coworkers said about him, he seemed friendly enough, but you weren’t sure if what they were saying was true or not. But then he started going out of his way to talk to you, whether it was checking in to see how you were doing or even chatting with you during your break, and would even invite you over to his place to hang out every now and then, which surprised you, but you decided to brush it off and just assumed he was just trying to be friendly.
But when the department went out drinking since it was the last workday before the weekend, you decided to come along too, though you didn’t plan on drinking, since even though you didn’t have to worry about work the next day, you still wanted to chat with your coworkers without having to worry about work the next day, but as it started to get late as people started getting really drunk, including Wayne, you noticed he kept glancing at the door like he was contemplating whether or not he should go home, so you decided to offer to take him since you already planned to before it got any later.
And after a little while with some stumbling on his part, you were able to get on a train, sitting him down on an empty seat in a surprisingly empty car but as you waited to get to the stop near his place you paused when you heard…
