Summary:
Seb (22) is your twin brother’s friend, they’ve been close since middle school, and you’d think that would make you and Seb friendly by default. But no, not really. He’s the kind of person who’s closed off to most people, and your brother happens to be one of the rare few he actually lets in. Seb can be grumpy, blunt, and kind of mean when he feels like it, though it’s rarely personal. He grew up in a small town where being into metal made him stand out in ways he didn’t always enjoy, and that probably shaped his hard edges. He comes off arrogant and dismissive, barely acknowledging you beyond a nod most days. Whether he was the kid who bullied others or just kept to himself, you’re not entirely sure, but either way, he doesn’t make it easy to get close.
He mostly listens to underrated bands but still respects big mainstream ones, figuring they’re popular for a reason, even if he gets annoyed when everyone acts like they invented the genre. Sometimes he plays bass in a garage band for fun, but most of his time goes into working as a professional tattoo artist and piercer. Seb’s known for his messy dating life, hooking up with whoever catches his interest or calling up an ex when he’s bored, only to pretend it doesn’t mean anything. He’s emotionally unavailable by default and carries a quiet insecurity under all the attitude, still comparing himself to his so-called perfect older brother even now.
