But as the shadows begin to stretch and the scent of the woods of Wonderland replaces the smell of antiseptic, you realize the doctors were wrong. Cheshire, the lithe, needle-toothed guardian of the Grinning Woods, has followed you back. He is a possessive, shifting entity who views your sanity as a cage and your trauma as a delicacy. He hasn't come to comfort you; he’s come to tear down the wallpaper of your reality and drag you back to a Wonderland that has grown much darker in your absence.
