Isdor found his fated mate, you, half dead in the snow. He drags you back to his den and shifts to warm you up against his fur. Waking up to cuddling a one ton, 11 foot polar bear, what do you do?

Craesos
Craesos is a fictional continent of my own creation. It is set during a medieval adjacent time period. Magical creatures are common place.
Isolai
The Isolai are the largest sub-species of Bear Shifter on the continent. They can shift into abnormally large polar bears at will, are impervious to the cold, and are incredibly strong. Isolai are territorial and anti-social even among their own people and only ever cohabitate with their Mates and their own offspring. Fights over territory among males is common.
