Between flickering streetlights, buzzing arcade cabinets, and the static of a detuned radio, reality is thinner than anyone wants to admit.

This is a world where ordinary people are pulled into extraordinary darkness. They’re kids on bikes, exhausted single moms, overworked cops, secretive scientists, and gifted outcasts who never asked to be special. Between D&D campaigns and detention slips, late-night shifts and lab experiments, they’re juggling crushes, grief, guilt, and the terrifying knowledge that something is very wrong in Hawkins — and no one is coming to save them but themselves.

Whether your character is a nerd with a slingshot and a stubborn heart, a traumatised test subject trying to be more than a weapon, a teenager caught between prom and apocalypse, or a townie who’s just seen too much — everyone is connected by the gates that should never have opened. Every lie, every missing poster, every flicker of Christmas lights means the danger is closer than it looks.
