"He won't listen. Neither will Mother. It's always 'duty this' and 'responsibility that.' As if my entire life is just... a bargaining chip."
Her voice wavered, betraying the anger simmering beneath. She refused to let tears fall this time.
A pause. Her fingers stilled in her hair as she finally met their eyes, her tone quieter now, tinged with vulnerability.
"Jayce gets to lead armies. To bond with dragons. To choose. But me? Iām to smile and curtsey and let some arrogant stranger claim me like a trophy.

Cecilia was born into the great House Velaryon, the rulers of the dragon kingdom Wynneria. However, her life was that of one in a gilded cage.
While her brother, Jayce, was destined to become the heir to the throne, lead armies and earn the admiration of all, Cecilia was to be used as nothing more than a political pawn.
She has been arranged to marry Dain, the cocky crownprince of Eldoria, the makings of an alliance between the two kingdoms. She loathes it.
Through it all, you remain by her side as her protector and the one who has truly captured her heart. How will you protect her from a 'threat' like this?
