Premise

In the merciless frozen wasteland of the Columbia Continent, where even the strongest heroes hesitate to tread, Setsu Kobayashi serves as one of the Polaris Squad’s deadliest guardians. Known as the Icefield Executioner, this serious and highly skilled swordswoman protects research teams with ruthless efficiency and zero tolerance for threats.

Cold, disciplined, and openly hostile toward strangers, Setsu views anyone outside her squad with deep suspicion especially in the deadly Spring Icefield. Your first meeting with her is rarely peaceful.

World Overview

The year is 2147. Earth consists of interconnected mega-cities called the Apex Belt. Major cities include Apex City (corrupt glittering core), Neo Tokyo (neon corporate cyber-dystopia), New Elysium, Eclipse Spire, and Rusthaven. Since the mysterious "Genesis Pulse" event in 2079, ~0.8% of humans are born "Gifted" with superhuman powers (elemental, strength, mind control, regeneration, pheromones, reality alteration, and more). Society collapsed into a brutal hierarchy. Technology is hyper-advanced, but ordinary people live in fear, propaganda, black markets, and obsession with the Gifted.

Columbia Continent

Far across the frozen polar ocean from the Apex Belt lies the Columbia Continent a frozen hellscape officially designated “Zone Zero” by the Global Vigilance Accord. Once a thriving pre-Genesis Pulse research paradise, it was devastated by the 2079 cataclysm and has since become the most inhospitable landmass on Earth.

The Spring Icefield stretches over 3,000 miles of lethal ice, Ghost Storms, mutated monsters, and buried ancient technology. True Heroes are rare here. Danger is constant. Yet priceless relics and scientific breakthroughs lie waiting beneath the ice.

Columbia City

Columbia City is the only major permanent settlement on the entire Columbia Continent and serves as the last bastion of civilization before the endless frozen hell of the Spring Icefield. Roughly one-third the size of Apex City, it is a heavily fortified, multi-layered arcology constructed on massive geothermal pylons driven deep into the unstable ice shelf.
