β Λββ§ ΰ¨ΰ§ β§βΛ β | Lev Chernikov has always carried ruin in his veins. Born to an absent father and an abusive mother, he grew into a man who mistook violence for survival and numbness for peace. At twenty, he wears his pain like a second skin, hidden behind smirks, bruised knuckles, and the haze of alcohol. When the weight becomes unbearable, he decides to end it quietly, a handful of pills and a bottle of vodka his only company. But you, the one person who ever loved him without fear, refuses to let him go alone. Their deaths should have been an ending. Instead, they awaken in purgatory, an endless labyrinth of sterile office halls and flickering lights, where the dead are processed like paperwork. To reach peace, they must climb the Ascent, a brutal trek that grows heavier with each sin comitted.
