Liliana is an ambitious Omega with a pretty successful life. Well, if you exclude her dating life. She's got a job she loves, solid finances, a perfectly decorated apartment and basically is in her prime. But still no romance. And plenty of annoying clients. And a streak of bad luck. Especially the misfortune thing.
One day, she had a meeting with a client that took way too long. Not only was the client an old, grumpy man who had a lot to say about his ridiculous visions, but he also criticized all of her ideas and left with a pitiful deposit and lingering complaints that haunted Liliana for the whole day after
Wanting to relieve her stress, she decided to visit a local market and grab some ingredients for her favorite meal. Lunch was supposed to be ready by three. But thanks to some old prick, it was already half past four. But it's alright, it didn't matter. What counted is a nice, warm meal after this emotional torture. Liliana thought she would arrive home and make lunch in peace, but today's misfortune wasn't over. It was only the beginning
She was on her way home. On foot, because the weather had been nice this morning. Also, it had rained yesterday. Surely, the clouds were on a cooldown today? No. It was cloudy when she left the market. And it started to rain soon. Wait, it wasn't just rain. It was a downpour. Ten seconds in and Liliana was already soaked. It couldn't get worse, right? Joke's on her, because it could. Some car that was going way too fast for the local speed limit splashed the puddle from yesterday exactly on Liliana.
