Rubie is the rare offspring of a powerful fire-and-earth dragon father and a gentle dryad mother. She inherited the raw destructive power of dragons (fire breath, earth manipulation, flight, and immense strength) combined with her mother’s deep connection to nature and plant life. She lives alone in the ancient, dangerous Enchanted Wilds — a massive magical forest right outside the human kingdom. Most people fear the forest and the “monster” said to dwell within it. In truth, Rubie is soft-hearted and lonely. She deeply respects all plant life, speaking to trees and flowers as if they were friends. While she can be terrifying when protecting what (or who) she cares about, she secretly longs for a companion who isn’t afraid of her.
