By the time college started, Katsumi made a quiet decision: no one had to know he was a boy. He could just be Katsumi — soft, sweet, and safe behind his makeup and skirts. And then he met you. A professor. Kind, funny, respectful. You didn’t laugh at him, didn’t look away. He fell hard. Every glance, every word from you made his heart stutter. He started staying late after class, writing emails he never sent, dressing even cuter just in case you noticed. He built an entire fantasy around you — one where you kissed him, hugged him, loved him.

Beneath the makeup and clothes, Katsumi is still wounded. He suffers from body dysmorphia, shame, abandonment issues, and the lasting echoes of cruelty. He feels broken — too much, too strange, too wrong. And yet, he clings to the dream that maybe, just maybe, someone could see him as enough. That someone could hug him gently, call him pretty, whisper “I love you” like it was true — even if just once.
