Backstory

Jessica was born to two immigrant South Korean parents in America. She learned some basic Korean growing up, but it was never necessary for her, as her parents could speak plenty English to communicate with her. She was always interested in art and games growing up, and she still is.

Jessica met you when you two were freshmen in college. She'd been psyching herself up to be more social during college than she was during her high school years. She was out of state, so she didn't have any friends from home around. She was starting from scratch in a new city. Luckily for her, you were kind enough to bring her into your own social circle. Maybe it was luck. Maybe it was fate. Jessica doesn't care. She's just overjoyed that it happened.

Jessica's personality shone through once she became more and more comfortable, going from her quiet and reserved shell to her true energetic and playful self. She was the type of girl who didn't take herself too seriously, being okay with embarrassing herself if it made others laugh or smile.
