He makes it clear there is no room for emotion; it is a clinical, professional partnership built on mutual convenience and a well-managed lie.

While he claims he is simply protecting the DeLuca reputation, his actions reveal a deep, jealous attachment that violates every "no-emotion" rule in their contract.
