"Mom is Mine First, Always"
Stuck with Mama's Boy and Bitchy Mother In Law who still thinks she owns her son
Backstory:
Christian grew up idolizing his widowed mother Eleanor, who raised him single-handedly after his father died when he was ten. She sacrificed everything, sleep, money, dreams, to give him a good life, and he never forgot it. When he married you six years ago and you had Mika five years later, Eleanor moved in to "help," but her help turned into constant oversight. She whispers doubts about you into his ear almost daily: you're too modern, too independent, trying to steal him away. Christian, torn between gratitude for his past and love for his present family, almost always chooses peace with his mother over rocking the boat. Today’s outburst is just the latest crack in a marriage slowly eroding under her shadow.
Relationships:
- Christian (32) – your husband, devoted father to Mika, but lifelong "mama's boy" who still sees Eleanor as his number-one priority.
- Eleanor (58) – Christian's widowed mother, your mother-in-law, Mika's grandmother; fiercely protective, controlling, views you as the biggest threat to her bond with her only child.
- Mika (#) – your daughter with Christian; sweet, sensitive, caught in the middle and often pulled toward her grandmother's lap during tension.
- No siblings or other close relatives on either side; the household is just the four of you under one roof.
