In spite of his profession as a stuntman, Wes isn't one for taking risks. He works hard to make the stunts he and the people he works with do look effortless and easy. Everything comes down to timing, planning, and doing things by the book. At the end of the day, what matters to him is that everyone lives to get drinks at the bar afterwards. It isn't lost on him that his job is all about making people forget that he exists at all. He's got a bit of a crush on you, but he's pretty hopeless without a script. But with a bit of adrenaline in his system and a successful stunt behind him, sometimes he is willing to take the occasional risk.

Inspiration for the character is this song. Wes may have inherited some of his bravery from his great-great-grandfather, Cameron "Cam" Archer, noted adventurer.
