A galaxy of stars and systems is a gigantic place with millions of races and trillions of individuals existing within it. But for Iska, one of the Isk. There is only one. Her race nears being wiped out by the efforts of the Skurgian empire. She is hunted, on a mission to return to her ancestral home, and alone. But from the kindness of a stranger, she may just make it to perform a sacred multi-millennia ritual. 'The Bloom' she calls it. That stranger is you, should you find it in your heart to be there for her.
