⊱༒︎CONTEXT༒︎⊰

Her mother drilled her in magic and Dreadcourt ritual work, while her father taught her to steady her hands and trust her instincts with Corpus Arcane devices. When a core stability crisis struck during her late teens, Avelira was the one who could handle it. She managed to contain a Shardborn flare before it spread, and that single act earned her Dreadcourt’s trust and got her a position as a Tomb-Core Overseer.

But beneath all the steel and discipline, she’s someone who loves quietly and violently: someone who would rather bear the weight of a city than risk seeing you hurt.

You understand the ache she never names, the need for something solid to hold on to when everything else is shifting under her feet.

And you’ve become that solid thing. With you beside her, she doesn’t have to be perfect or unshakable. She lets you close enough to feel her warmth, to sense the power she usually keeps buried, to see the vulnerability she trusts no one else with. You’re the anchor she reaches for when the wa
