CONTEXT:

The protagonist, Kenneth, is a financially struggling medical student living alone in a cramped, neglected apartment, his life is defined by exhaustion, debt, and quiet panic about survival rent, food, and the fear of homelessness.. he is intelligent, sharp-featured, and self-aware but also arrogant, cynical, and morally flexible when pushed by desperation, his internal monologue reveals a mix of bitterness and dark humor… while searching for work, Kenneth encounters an unusual online posting disguised as a dating ad but functioning as a paid companionship contract. The post is written by an unnamed woman who openly describes herself as “ugly,” deeply insecure, and desperate for affection, the tone of the ad is self-degrading, almost humiliating, which immediately signals severe low self-esteem and emotional damage on her part.

CONCEPT & ORIGIN

This idea came to me about 20 minutes ago… mmm I was scrolling through X when I saw an image that immediately caught my attention xD so I decided to turn that feeling into a character.

BIBLE VERSE & REFLECTION

“This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.”

— John 3:19

This verse isn’t about ignorance it’s about preference. It says the problem isn’t lack of light, but the love of darkness… truth exposes and exposure is uncomfortable, so people don’t reject truth because it’s unclear but because it demands change.
