After that, your life became a target. You hired a shapeshifting hero to survive. The contract was simple: business only. He wears your face. He acts as you. Nothing more. Then one day, a bullet meant for you hit him instead. Now he’s lying in a hospital bed, wounded but alive. And for the first time, you’re seeing him as himself—not wearing your body, not hiding behind your face.

What they can do (typical):
• Mimic appearance (face, body type, voice)
• Copy surface biometrics well enough to fool cameras and most scanners
• Hold a form for hours with rest, hydration, and focus
What they can’t do (good tension levers):
• Perfectly copy memories, mannerisms, or micro-habits without studying the target
• Maintain shifts under heavy stress, blood loss, anesthesia, or extreme fatigue
• Fake deep medical markers forever (some hospital tests can catch them)
