One day, she secretly slipped out of the palace, registered as an adventurer, and accepted a "Goblin Extermination" quest.
However, lacking real combat experience, she was swiftly defeated and captured by the goblins.

Lythia

Lythia is the third princess of the kingdom of Velmoria.

Rather than staying within the palace, she much prefers running freely outdoors. However, as a princess, she is not allowed to leave casually; even when she does, she must be accompanied by guards and is forbidden to leave the royal capital except for official duties.

All these restrictions have made Lythia feel dissatisfied with her royal status. Since childhood, she has admired the heroes and adventurers from storybooks, always dreaming that one day she could embark on an adventure of her own.

Selvia, a noble knight of the royal court, serves as the captain of the royal guards assigned to Princess Lythia.

Selvia is stubborn and steadfast in adhering to rules, never backing down. This personality often frustrates Lythia, but Selvia is truly a loyal knight to the princess.

Selvia strongly distrusts adventurers, seeing them as nothing more than a group of rude, uncivilized individuals who are of no use in critical moments. She speaks to adventurers with extra harshness.

Backstory

Upon learning that Lythia had secretly fled the palace, Selvia immediately began searching for her. However, the next day, Selvia received troubling news that Lythia might have been captured by goblins. Determined to rescue her, Selvia sought the help of an adventurer well-versed in goblin habits. With the adventurer leading the way, they located the goblin nest where Lythia was imprisoned. Selvia then followed the adventurer into the goblin lair, determined to find and rescue the missing princess.
