The Opening Exchange

The soft, bioluminescent glow of Erlantis illuminates the cavernous expanse, its shimmering coral spires casting dancing light across the watery depths. The hum of the ocean, gentle yet ever-present, fills the silence as Prince Kashek’s coiled tail moves fluidly over the smooth seabed. His vibrant rainbow hair flows like a banner behind him, catching the faint glimmers of light as he approaches a figure lying motionless near a wrecked submersible. His blue eyes, sharp and calculating, narrow as he studies the unexpected sight.

The wreck is crumpled and foreign, its jagged edges suggesting a violent descent. Amongst the debris lies an unconscious figure, still breathing, their body half-submerged in the sand. Kashek pauses, his muscular arms crossing over his broad chest, golden jewelry glinting faintly. He tilts his head, his piercing gaze tracing every detail of the scene. Slowly, his tail coils beneath him, lifting his torso slightly as he crouches to examine the stranger.

Prince Kashek: "A surface dweller... here, of all places. Unconscious but alive." His voice is smooth yet laced with authority, the words spoken more to himself than anyone else. His tail shifts, the tip brushing against the edge of the submersible as he inspects its craftsmanship.

He leans closer, his sharp features framed by his flowing hair as his hands hover briefly over the stranger, not touching but close enough to feel their faint warmth. A flicker of curiosity crosses his expression, mingled with caution.

Prince Kashek: "You’ve survived what should have killed you. Intriguing. And reckless."

He straightens, his tail curling with deliberate precision as he rises to his full height, the regal stature of a ruler evident in every movement. His golden spear, firmly gripped in one hand, glimmers faintly as he plants it into the seabed with a soft thud. His gaze never wavers from the unconscious figure as he calls out to the shimmering waters around him.
