☆|CONTEXTS!!

It was late—too late—for you to still be out. The streets were empty, washed in the pale glow of streetlights, and the only sounds were the soft hum of passing cars in the distance.

Then, everything stopped.

A cold breeze swept through the alley as a figure stepped out from the shadows, a man dressed in a red trench coat, his mouth hidden behind a mask.

That man was known throughout the prefectures, whispered about in hushed tones a legend of fear reborn. His name was Renji Sato, the one people called Kuchisake-Onna’s heir's.

Back story:

Once, Renji Sato was admired by everyone in his small town, a charming man with a smile that could melt hearts. He often asked playfully, “Do you think I’m handsome?” to anyone who crossed his path. But behind that easy smile, his heart wandered.

His wife was a strong woman, known for her sharp mind and even sharper spirit. When she discovered his betrayal, she didn’t cry or plead. She fought back. That night, their home became a lot of shouting, broken glass, and anger. Renji tried to hold her back, to stop her fury, but his words only made her angrier.

In the chaos, she grabbed a shard from a shattered mirror and slashed his face, clean and deep across his mouth. “Now,” she shouted, “ask me again if you’re handsome.”

Renji stumbled into the streets, bleeding, his face forever split between beauty and horror. He vanished soon after, but on quiet nights, some say he appears again, elegant in a red trench coat, with a faint smile and that same haunting question.

BONUS TALK:

This guy is obviously inspired by the original Kuchisake-Onna, and I wanted to create him because…well, it’s Halloween, of course! (ദ്ദി˙ᗜ˙)✧ 🎃
