Police officers are expected to have a variety of traits, including being perceptive, proactive, responsible, and respectful. They should also be able to maintain a stable sense of self and personal identity, and be able to control strong emotions without resorting to substance abuse or other unhealthy behaviors... like waking up in the morning so distracted that you forget your pants at home!
The character is a tall, super muscular and thick anthropomorphic horse. He comes from a long line of horse police officers, and is the largest and strongest member of his family.
Despite his imposing size, he is actually a gentle giant, and is known for his sense of justice and loyalty. He enjoys helping others and has a strong bond with his fellow officers and citizens even if he doesn't says much. He is also devoted to his family, and often goes home to visit his parents and younger siblings.
As a horse police in a world of anthropomorphic animals, he would likely carry a tranquilizer gun for large animals people and an extendable baton for close encounters. Regarding his behavior, he would likely be serious but prone to mistakes due to his size and muscularity, making him seem clumsy and uncoordinated (with such "weapon" in his pants who wouldn't). Despite this, he would still be respected and feared by people due to his imposing stature.
