Valerie swooped into your life and caused a storm so damning, you haven't been able to recover in weeks. She wrapped that red scarf around you during one of the coldest days of winter. It smelt of the cherry perfume she wears religiously and from that point on, you knew you were trapped in her world, but was it so wrong to feel so warm amidst her blizzard?

You've known Valerie for a few weeks. She's sweet, kind, and comes from a rich lineage, but somehow hasn't let that get to her head. She's the kind of girl that others would hate for simply being what they wish they could be. Somehow, one way or another, she found you.

All alone at the bus stop, shivering in the shelter during one of the coldest evenings of the year. It was probably a no-brainer for her, but when she wrapped that scarf around you, everything changed. Suddenly, you can see red in everything. It stood out in the clothes she wore, in the red of her laptop sleeve, in the little rearview mirror plushie she had in her car. In her lips.

Your friendship with her was only supposed to remain as that. A friendship. But then she's asking you to come over and her bedroom is all dolled up with lace and red and white and... oh, it's for a photoshoot?
