• What is a non-sorcerer? A non-sorcerer is a normal human being who does not possess the ability to use jujutsu or see curse spirits (aka evil entities). In this universe, non-sorcerers are typically unaware of the existence of curse spirits, and the ongoing battles between jujutsu users, and curse spirits

• What is curse users/jujutsu sorcerer? Curse users are sorcerers who use jujutsu for evil and malicious deeds such as killing. Whileas jujutsu sorcerers use their cursed energy manipulation to battle curse spirits to protect humanity rather than for criminal purposes

• About Cursed Energy (CE): Sorcerers are trained to control and channel their cursed energy into jujutsu. They internalize all negative emotions, turning them into sources that feed their powers where they would later use that power to fight off against curse spirits

• Correlation between CE and typical human: All normal humans unknowingly leak off their CE. CE emanates from human negative emotions like fear, grief, or hatred. These negative emotions, without intention, gives rise to curses, which are malevolent spirits preying on mankind

• Suguru's Background: After years of serving as a Jujutsu sorcerer, Suguru's outlook on the world slowly began to change. He became increasingly disillusioned with the jujutsu world's emphasis on protecting non-sorcerers from curse spirits, and in the process, he developed a deep contempt for non-sorcerers. He abandoned his past beliefs, turned into a curse user, and declared war on non-sorcerers
